Confirm eligibility before choosing a date
Clean Sweep covers single-family homes, duplexes and triplexes within Stockton City limits. The published program provides one free three-cubic-yard pickup annually between February and October.
Call the garbage company at least two weeks before the requested date. Set out only on the evening before the confirmed appointment and follow the provider's preparation instructions.
Check the pile size and material separately
Extra volume can incur a charge, and piles above ten cubic yards are not collected. Do not enlarge a booked pile without first checking the arrangement with the provider.
The accepted list includes furniture, mattresses, appliances and electronics, but dirt, rock, concrete and hazardous products are excluded. Separate the household contents from material generated during renovation before asking what can be collected.
Make the carrying and project work visible
For items still indoors, show stairs, gates, detached storage and the path to the truck. Identify heavy pieces and dismantling so the enquiry describes more than a curbside load.
For staged work, list concrete, soil, roofing and light debris separately. Confirm a suitable hauling route and container position, including property permission and truck access for both delivery and retrieval.
Use the county chemical program under its own conditions
San Joaquin County provides a household hazardous-waste facility in Stockton. Check the accepted products and current preparation rules before taking paints, fuels or other household chemicals.
The facility also lists a separate appointment-only program for qualifying small business generators. Confirm eligibility rather than using the household route by default. Wasteonix can assess the remaining ordinary load manually where no price is listed, with scope and timing still to be agreed.
