Omaha's River City Transfer program is for residents within city limits. Bring two qualifying proofs of residency and request the cost-share program before dumping; the published instructions do not allow a refund afterward.
The annual arrangement provides four vouchers, but a pickup, van or trailer typically uses two. Confirm the vehicle, weight and charges rather than treating four vouchers as four identical trips.
The subsidized list includes furniture, drywall and lumber, with only very limited concrete. Major appliances and tires are excluded, and yard waste is not subsidized. Check acceptance before mixing those items into a load.
The facility lists a hard hat and safety vest for anyone outside the vehicle while unloading. Plan who will unload and how the heaviest pieces will be moved.
Omaha's seasonal cleanup guidance provides residential drop-off opportunities. Check the current event location and accepted materials; fall cleanup requires residents to unload without assistance and excludes commercial waste.
