Fort Worth provides monthly curbside collection for eligible residential bulky items that do not fit in the normal garbage cart. The no-extra-charge limit is ten cubic yards, with one pile per household, and material must be placed for the property's assigned collection week.

Small home repair and remodel waste is limited to one visit per month and five cubic yards. Concrete, rock, dirt, ceramic tile, roofing and asbestos-containing material are excluded, while landlord, commercial and out-of-city loads do not qualify for the ordinary resident route.

The Environmental Collection Center accepts specified household chemicals from eligible Fort Worth and participating-city residents, but business, commercial and industrial hazardous waste is not accepted. Paint, fuels, pesticides, batteries and unknown chemicals should never be hidden in a mixed dumpster or junk load.
