Are roots and soil included in a green waste collection?
Describe them before booking. Roots, stumps and soil can have different handling or acceptance requirements from loose clippings and leaves, so the provider needs to confirm the arrangement.

Prepare a separated vegetation load
Describe clippings, leaves, branches and any large woody pieces. Ask about maximum branch size, stumps, roots and plant types that the provider may need to assess separately.
Explain whether material is loose or contained and where it can be loaded. Soil attached to roots and non-plant items can change the collection and disposal requirements.
What to include in the quote
Give the full collection address, the material or item list, approximate quantity and preferred date. State what needs carrying and any tasks beyond straightforward loading.
Check the included labour, weight or volume allowance, GST and any extra item charges. The provider must confirm the material, scope and availability before the collection is agreed.
