Waste guides for Ireland

Match the container or collection to the materials, the programme and the labour you need included.

Keep routine office waste, confidential material and workplace clearances as separate parts of the specification.

Use this guide to prepare the brief; use the Cork commercial waste page to request a service against it.

Confirm the responsible authority, placement and accepted load before depending on a delivery date.

Check household alternatives first, then specify the inventory and labour for the collection you need.

Compare total quoted costs for the same materials, hire period and delivery conditions.

Separate service comparison from one-off clearance and confirm the actual premises covered.

Use actual trading quantities, maintain separate streams and agree access to the waste store.

Measure the delivery cycle and describe stock contents before requesting recurring collections or clearance.

Compare the same inventory, with loading time and carrying labour made explicit.

Keep recurring operations and project clearances on separate inventories and schedules.

List materials before loading and obtain acceptance for the actual combination and quantities.

Check Wexford skip licensing before delivery, separate reusable and electrical items during clear-outs, and identify rubble, soil and restricted building materials before requesting a price.

Confirm Waterford skip placement first, sort reusable and electrical items during clear-outs, and keep dense construction materials separate from mixed renovation debris.
