Size overview
What 15 cubic metre hooklift container is usually used for
Suitable for bulky building waste, garden refuse and commercial clear-outs. Heavy rubble requires supplier confirmation.
Best for
Choose capacity for the waste volume, then confirm the permitted materials and loaded weight with the supplier. Large 15, 20 and 30 cubic-metre hooklift containers are not automatically suitable for dense rubble: concrete, bricks and soil can reach vehicle limits well before the container is full.
Check first
Confirm access, estate rules, accepted waste and the supplier's maximum loaded weight before booking. For heavy builders rubble, ask whether a smaller skip or dedicated rubble load is needed; do not use container volume as a weight allowance.
Between sizes?
For light, bulky waste, compare the next size up rather than overfilling. For soil, rubble, concrete or other heavy waste, check supplier weight restrictions first: a larger container may not be suitable.
