Memphis collects outside-the-cart bulk waste twice a month on designated weeks. Use the address schedule or Memphis Curbside Collection app before set-out rather than assuming every weekly cart collection includes furniture.
Keep tree limbs and branches in a separate pile from furniture and other non-vegetative waste. Check the current placement and preparation instructions so the collection equipment can reach the material.
The City requires contractors and tree services to remove the debris their work generates. Include hauling and disposal in the job specification rather than assuming a contractor can leave the cuttings for residential pickup.
For your own yard work, distinguish bagged vegetation from larger limbs. Ask about the accepted size and amount before cutting or packaging a load for collection.
