Use Fresno Operation Clean Up for the right load
Operation Clean Up gives eligible Fresno residential solid-waste customers one bulky-item collection each year. The current limit is 10 cubic yards, and material should not be placed out more than seven days before the scheduled pickup.
The service is tied to the property producing the waste. Apartment buildings with four or more units do not use the same route, and a private junk crew is more suitable when items need carrying from inside or the job cannot wait for the annual schedule.

Separate Fresno yard debris from household junk
Fresno requires yard clippings and qualifying timber or brush to form a separate pile from furniture and other household debris. Branches and wood must meet the published preparation limits so crews can load the material safely and preserve its recycling route.
Operation Clean Up does not collect from alleys, even where regular carts receive alley service. Move eligible piles to the instructed street location without blocking hydrants, meters, mailboxes, bike access or parked vehicles.

Give Fresno remodeling debris its own plan
Roofing, major remodeling and contractor-generated landscaping or construction waste are excluded from Operation Clean Up. A roll-off can suit staged debris, but concrete, soil, tile, roofing and other dense material should be declared before choosing a container.
Covered construction, demolition and alteration projects can require a waste-management plan and documented diversion under Fresno's CALGreen process. Confirm the approved hauler, processing facility and recordkeeping route before work begins rather than treating all project debris as ordinary trash.

Private-property placement normally gives a roll-off the clearest route, provided the surface, gates, overhead clearance and collection approach are suitable.
