Schedule Atlanta bulk collection before set-out
Atlanta bulk collections must still be scheduled even though they now take place on a household's regular weekly collection day. The current residential service provides up to 12 collections each year, requires at least one business day's notice and defines a standard collection as no more than 8 cubic yards.
Eligible furniture and white goods can suit that curbside route when the timing and preparation rules work. Junk removal is usually clearer when items remain inside, an apartment or eviction load is not eligible, the pile exceeds the allowance or labour is needed to carry and load it.

Separate Atlanta yard trimmings from household bulk
Routine Atlanta yard trimmings include leaves, grass, flowers and branches prepared to the City's current size limits. They belong in approved paper bags or clearly marked reusable containers and must remain separate from carts and household bulk so the correct collection crew can reach each pile.
Loose soil, lumber, construction debris and material produced by a professional landscaper are excluded from ordinary yard-trimming collection. Larger landscaping work may therefore need contractor haul-away or a container selected around branch length, soil weight and access to the property.

Use a project route for Atlanta construction debris
Atlanta does not accept building and construction material through household bulk collection. Sheetrock, concrete, roof shingles and similar project debris need a private hauling or dumpster route rather than being left beside furniture for City collection.
Describe heavy material before ordering. Concrete, dirt, brick and roofing can reach vehicle limits before a container looks full, while mixed renovation debris may have separate acceptance rules for paint, treated timber, batteries or other restricted products.

Resolve Atlanta placement and commercial collection
A suitable driveway or private site is generally the simplest place for a temporary container. Atlanta requires a permit for work in the public right-of-way and publishes specific dumpster and container placement requirements, so street or sidewalk occupation should be agreed before delivery.
Atlanta's residential bulk and yard routes do not provide a substitute for planned business waste service. Offices, restaurants, retail sites, managed properties and construction operations need containers and collection frequency matched to storage space, access windows and the material generated on site.
